“ I love this sushi spot! A first date night around a year ago and came back again recently. Just as good as it was the first time I came. Dragon Roll & Lion King Roll was ordered. Something about that dragon roll is amazing. That roll is a must to order! Miso soup was great as well. Not only was the food amazing but the service they provide is top of the line. Consistently checking up on us, asking if we need anything else, recommended rolls. I will always come back when I am in town! ”
“ Everything is fresh. All sushi is very fresh. They make it while you are there. None of the sushi is prepared prior to your order. Great service. Friendly and helpful. ”
“ This is the best place in town for sushi and has been for many years. Once you try Kazans the other places seem very skimpy with fish. ”
“ Holy smokes batman! I found my sushi spot in Vacaville. Love the atmosphere, clean, intimate, cozy and good food to boot. Go for the bento box combos, you will not be disappointed! Come in hungry and leave with a bag, that's how much food you getting!!! Please don't change, now that Ive found my spot. Hands down, one of the best Japanese food in Solano county, now I said it and mean every bit of it.. ”
“ Service was prompt. Ambiance was divey and casual, but food was great! Portion sizes were huge. Our eyes were clearly bigger than our stomachs! The staff was super friendly and attentive. It's located in a little strip mall type plaza, from the outside it looks small but there a space in the back where the restaurant extends. We got there before the dinner time rush. ”
“ 10/10 Highly recommend! Enjoyed their explosion roll, WOW! Is all I have to say. Beef teriyaki bento 10/10 super tender meat and great portions. & well by far some of the best service I've had in a while. Very attentive & friendly. ”
“ Love this place! My favorite place to get sushi locally. The food is always fresh. The service is always really good and the setting is relaxing and low key. They have plenty of seating and the food comes pretty quickly. I highly recommend trying them out! *I never get any good pictures as we always devour it lol ”
“ I made a Facebook post asking about the best sushi spot in Vacaville for a picky eater. Kazan was #1 most recommended. My son won't eat raw sushi and loved bento boxes. He said the katsu chicken is the best he's ever tasted. We were a party of 5 and 3 rolls were more than enough to feed us all. We also had a sunomono salad and fried jumbo shrimp. The texture on the shrimp and katsu chicken were phenomenal. They don't have a fountain drink station just canned sodas so there is no free refills which for us was a bit sad but the food and service was so great we didn't mind paying extra for drinks. The restaraunt is a bit small and during lunch rush it got a bit busy but we did not feel rushed at all. We will be back very soon!! ”
“ This restaurant is inconspicuously located inside of an old shopping plaza. I've heard about this place for years when I used to work in Vacaville but never to the chance to try them out. Man, was I missing out! My friends and I came the night before Christmas and that place was packed! We all sat at the bar area and had a great time chatting with the chefs and watching the basketball game. There's additional seating the back portion of the restaurant so they can adapt to large parties. We ordered and shared 3 sashimi platters, soft shell crab, Philly roll, Peabody roll, and many bottles of beef and saki. Every server was super nice and always checking in with us. I'm looking forward to visiting again! ”
“ I was craving sushi on the drive home from work. I forgot that Kazan is right up the street from me! I stopped by to order dinner to go. The staff greeted me immediately when I arrived. I provided 2 menus when I told the employee I wanted to order my food to go. The Server who helped me and ring in my order, was very very nice. She was hustling! A lot helping customers t kept coming in groups after I arrived, and she bounced back and forth between seating people, and taking food that was done to the tables. Everything looked delicious! She said it was okay for me to sit at the bar and take a look at the menus. My goodness were these menus HUGE! One menu was a regular menu with all the food ingredients and prices. The other menu was what I called the "picture book" version of the menu. It showed what all the rolls, appetizers, etc, looks like. My millennial self decided on The Lion King roll. LOL. With the salt and pepper prawns as a side. I paid for my meal and waited about 25 or so minutes. Which was about the time amount of time I was quoted that my food would be done. I sat on my phone and took a look at plants while I waited :) My food looked delicious when it came out ..I couldn't wait to take it home! After I was given my chopsticks, ginger, wasabi, and soy sauce, I was ready to go with my food into the sunset. I brought my food home and smashed it almost immediately! I got to give it to them .. I didn't know sushi in Vacaville was smacking (delicious) like this! Alright cow town...I see you!! I definitely look forward to eating in at Kazan the next time I have a sushi craving... just to try out the dine in experience. ”
